OSINT Investigations, Delivered at Machine Scale

E3 Legacy Intel provides open-source intelligence investigations for attorneys, corporations, and investigators: digital footprint, social media, dark web, and identity resolution. Unlike tool vendors, we deliver finished, admissible intelligence, using a proprietary platform with the reach of a thousand analysts and the judgment of licensed investigators (FL A-1400197).

The open-source world holds the answer to almost any investigative question. The problem is scale and judgment: too much data, too little time, and a courtroom that demands more than a screenshot. We solve both.

OSINT tools return data. We return intelligence.

The market is full of OSINT platforms that hand you a firehose of hits and call it intelligence. Raw data is not an answer, and it is not admissible. We combine a proprietary platform with the reach of a thousand analysts and the judgment of licensed investigators to deliver finished, verified, courtroom-ready intelligence, not a spreadsheet you still have to make sense of.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is OSINT and what is an OSINT investigation?
OSINT is open-source intelligence: information gathered from publicly available sources, social media, public records, the web, and the dark web. An OSINT investigation turns that raw information into finished, verified intelligence you can act on or put in front of a court.
How is E3 different from OSINT tools and platforms?
Tools return data; we return conclusions. Vendors sell you software and leave the analysis, verification, and admissibility to you. We use a proprietary platform with the reach of a thousand analysts and add the judgment of licensed investigators to deliver a finished, defensible product.
Is OSINT admissible in court?
It can be, when it is collected and preserved correctly. We document methodology, preserve sources and metadata, and maintain chain of custody so the intelligence supports a filing and survives an authenticity challenge.
Who uses your OSINT investigations?
Attorneys, corporations, insurers, and other investigators who need finished intelligence for litigation, due diligence, threat assessment, fraud, and security matters, at a scale and speed manual research cannot match.
Do you cover the dark web?
Yes. Our scope includes dark-web and breach-data intelligence where it is relevant and lawful, tied back to the identities and risks that matter to your matter.

Results

A click fraud campaign draining more than $10,000 a week from a group of travel agencies was routed through hundreds of IP addresses behind international proxies; we traced a single click back to the actual browser behind it, and that browser tied directly to a competitor's system. A theft of millions that appeared to come from Asia was traced to a web presence deliberately disguised to look foreign and actually based in New York City, and the FBI recovered the funds and prosecuted the offender. The operator of an extortion site hidden behind proxy servers and layers of fake names was identified as a man based in Orlando, Florida, and law enforcement took the case.
